Chad Doran and Megan Mulholland are the brains behind Contingency Resources. Between the two of them, they have more than 40 years of communication and media experience with private and public organizations. Chad and Megan are also both certified by the Federal Emergency Management Agency as Public Information Officers.
As communications coordinator for the City of Appleton, Chad Doran leads all communications, media relations and social media for the city. Chad has been named one of the top 100 local government influencers in the country, each year since 2016. Chad is a Certified Public Communicator through the CPC program at TCU and a certified Public Information Officer through FEMA. In 2018, Chad’s work led to Appleton being named both the most-engaging and best overall local government on social media. Prior to his government work, Chad was a TV news reporter and photographer in Green Bay and Madison, and Davenport, Iowa, in his 14 years in television.
Megan Mulholland is marketing and communications manager for the Community Foundation of the Fox Valley Region Inc. Before joining the Community Foundation, she managed all external communications for ThedaCare. Megan earned her Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) designation in 2009 and was named communicator of the year in 2015 by the Public Relations Society of America-Northeast Wisconsin Chapter.
